Preschool Graduation

Gavin's graduation ceremony from his 3 year preschool program was this morning.  Where in the world does time go?!?!? 

We had a great time this morning listening to Gavin and his friends sing songs for all the parents.  Just as I expected, Gavin was very quiet in his singing.  All the kids picked one song to sing as a solo, and while Gavin did actually sing, you can't hear him on the video.  He kept looking at us through the program and smiling...he was acting very shy!  :)

Riley enjoyed watching her brother and listening to the songs, too.

After the graduation, we headed to Chickfila to get some lunch from the drive-thru and went to a local park for lunch and to play with friends.  It was very surreal to me.  I can remember end-of-the-year parties at Ault Park with my elementary school friends.  I can remember end-of-the-year gatherings with my own classes at Shaw.  And now, here I am, the mom of one of those students!  It's so crazy to me.

 

Bring on summer vacation!  We'll see you next year, Miss Linda.
