Back to lesson planning...

No, I'm not going back to teaching.  But I am really excited to be lesson planning for this summer.  Gavin essentially has 4 months off this summer and I already notice that he writes his name way better, for example, on Wednesdays and Thursdays than he does on Mondays, because he's been in school on Tues/Thurs and Miss Linda practices with him.  We haven't done 'Tot School' like I used to do with him since Riley was born, and I decided it was time to step it up for the summer so he continues to practice his writing and also because he's showing so many signs up pre-reading that I was to take advantage of.  So, we talked about it and Gavin decided he wanted to call it 'Fun School' for the summer.  I'm really excited to make a Word Wall with him and do some pocket chart activities.  It's the little things that make the teacher in my happy.
